Annie Wersching Bio

Annie Wersching was born March 28 1977. She is an American actress. Her role includes Renee Walker on the American TV show 24. Motion capture and voice work was as well for Tess in the Naughty Dog videogame The Last of Us. Wersching was born in St. Louis, Missouri and raised there. She graduated in 1995 from Crossroads College Preparatory School. In her early years, she was a competitive Irish dancer as well as a member of the St. Louis Celtic stepdancers. Millikin University awarded her a Bachelor in Fine Arts in Musical Theatre in 1999. Wersching began her acting career by appearing as an extra on Star Trek: Enterprise. She went on to play guest roles on shows like Charmed, Killer Instinct and Supernatural. From March through November 2007 she played the recurring role of Amelia Joffe on the ABC Daytime soap drama General Hospital. Also, she has performed in theaters such as Victory Gardens and Marriott Lincolnshire. She was also an episode regular on the Amazon Prime crime-show Bosch in 2014. Wersching played catcher for the National League in the 2009 Taco Bell All-Star Legends and Celebrity Softball Game.In December 2012, it was revealed that in the PlayStation 3 exclusive The Last of Us Wersching was the voice actor and mo-cap of the character Tess. Geoff Keighley teased her character via Twitter before she was announced in the Spike Video Game Awards story trailer on December 7th the 7th of December, 2012. Wersching was set to take on the part of the Borg Queen in Star Trek: Picard in September 2021.
