Riley Keough

American actor Danielle Riley Keough. Her birthplace was in Santa Monica to Danny Keough and Lisa Marie Presley. She is the granddaughter of Elvis Presley, actress, and singer. Keough was raised by her father in Hawaii and Los Angeles, and additionally lived with her mother in California and Tennessee. At age 15 she began modeling, including appearances at fashion shows for Dolce & Gabbana and Christian Dior and appearing on the cover of Vogue. The first time she appeared in a feature film was at the age of 20, as she was cast in a minor role as Marie Currie in The Runaways (2010). Following The Good Doctor (2011), Keough starred in Jack & Diane (2012). Her next film was as a small part in Steven Soderbergh’s comedy Magic Mike (2012). Keough has appeared in other independent films in 2012 which included Yellow and Kiss of the Damned, prior to appearing in the major-budget action feature Mad Max: Fury Road (2015), the fourth installment of the Mad Max series. In 2016, Keough had her breakthrough role as a law student-turned-escort in the first season of the anthology series The Girlfriend Experience, executive-produced by Soderbergh and based on his 2009 film of the same name. The performance was praised by the critics and was nominated for the Golden Globe Award for Best Performance of an Actress in a Television Limited Series or Motion Picture. Keough's performance as a lost young woman in American Honey (2017) garnered her even more praise, and also an Independent Spirit Award nomination. The following year, Keough appeared in the apocalyptic slasher film It Comes at Night (2017) and was reunited with Soderbergh to be a part of the heist film Logan Lucky. This was followed by roles in a variety of thriller and horror films in 2018, including Lars von Trier's The House That Jack Built and the neonoir Under the Silver Lake. In 2019, Keough starred as the lead in the psychological horror film The Lodge, followed by another leading role in comedy-drama Zola (2020). Keough is the main character in Sandy Harrison, Netflix's 2020 release The Devil All the Time.
